Job description
Central’s Worship Coordinator is responsible for creating a variety of worship experiences that blend traditional and contemporary features into weekly 50- to 55-minute gatherings using various styles, leaders, musicians, instruments, drama, graphics, art, lighting, and technology. In this capacity, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating all aspects of worship services, including selecting music, leading rehearsals, and collaborating with the pastoral team to create a worship experience that is both spiritually enriching and musically engaging.
The Worship Coordinator position is a part-time role, with an estimated commitment of 8-10 hours per week. The position offers an annual 12-month salary of $18,000. Attendance at Staff Meetings is not required (but welcomed); occasional information may need to be transmitted to the staff. This role reports directly to the Senior Pastor, and requires a comprehensive background check.
